Went out to the ranch with the 6.8 to shoot a doe or two. I saw a few small WT does on hunt #1(Friday night) nothing worthy. Sat morning had a few small bucks, 5pt,3pt etc. Still nothing worth having. Hunted with a freind in his stand for that afternoon. His stand is 9ft x 8 ft it is big and nice and it was raining, so it was perfect. Still no good does. We have millions of shooter does, just don't know where they all were this weekend(prob full moon). Well Sunday morning I went back to my stand and before sun up i had 10-12 Axis does and young bucks in my hand corn and shot a nice Axis doe at sun up! Needless to say I was pleased. She weighed in at 104#. The WT does will have to wait till next weekend.
