Free CHL Class

I took a free CHL class this weekend. Wow this guy knows his stuff. I was a little skeptical about a FREE class but we got to shoot a lot and I was feeling really confident when I did my Qualification shooting. I got a perfect 250...

Bucks- i am curious how you got a free class? Some kind of promotion or something? Was the entire class free for everyone or what? Just curious...

Thanks. The instructor is starting a school and he is just north of Greenville. The whole class got it for free. He said he wants everyone to be safe and mentioned the fact that in Texas we get more training to drive than we do to carry. He offers follow up handgun 1, handgun 2 and advanced handgun for $150 each. Check him out.

They need their creds listed per instructor on the site..it would help them garner business. There are alot of "schools" popping up nowdays, with instructors with limited time in the field, I wont spend money for classes unless it is with a company with vetted T-1 instructors..

I emailed him. He stated that if we get 4+ people together to take the class, then he could set one up one weekend. I was thinking of an all TBH class in January. Anyone else in for it. I will get it set up.

Warrington, If you can get a weekend class set up on Jan I may very well be in if the price is right. It is a little of a drive for me but we turn thoes in to camping trips.
