    Acorn Rage

Anyone used acorn rage where there are no oak trees with success? wanting to try it. what do ya'll think?

I put some out for kicks in October along with a bag of corn to see what would happen. I spilt some of the rage around 10 yards from where I dumped the mixture of corn and rage. Went back the next week and all the corn was gone along with the rage. Except the pile of rage I spilled was still there. Every tree in the area was also covered in mud. This was a heavily deer travel area and the hogs had a feast. Couldnt believe that small amount spilled away from the corn was ignored.

Have heard reports from other forums where folks used the acorn rage and had great results though. Giver er a try and see, let us know the results. If you cant find any to buy let me know...I got a bag I havent used that has been sitting in my truck since October.

Used it this year mixed w/corn with good results. Deer didn't seem to like it not mixed.

In Montgomery Cnty they ate it up but I have a lot of oaks around. My experience is that it is overpriced and you could go buy some rice or wheat bran, mix up some "magic dust" and have the same exact result for a fraction of the price.
