??? About Pearland Texas

I may have an opportunity to relocate to the area...what are the +/- of that area?

Terrible!!!!! Bass Pro Shops is way to close to town!!! You will spend all of your time and money there. Don't bother moving!

Pearland is really growing. Nice area. Convenient to many other destinations from 288.

I live there for 5 years. Has everything you need. Traffic on 288 stinks, but that's the story all over Houston. We loved it there. You can get alot of house for the money. We lived in Silverlake. Great area.

The west side is blowing up, lots of people, lots of traffic. The east side is much slower and quieter. I live on the west side and I hate it, too many people and lots of "undesirables" in my opinion. Friendswood is also a nice place to live, great "small town" atmostphere and great school district. I live 1 mile from the new Bass Pro in Garland...bet I have been there 50 times and have only spent about $100 total for all visits combined....I usually spend my dollars at the local bow shop......control!

Sounds like the next time that I am down visiting my parents in Friendswood, I need to call a Happy Hour.

On another note, I went to BPS last time that I was down. I drove through Pearland and couldn't believe how much it has grown. The new BPS there was the least impressive one that I have ever seen. Sure as hell better than the alternatives though.

Friendswood looks good on the Map...If Iwent there, the offic ewould be in Pearland and not to bad of a drive.

Are all with in driving distance of Pearland
+Lots of things to do in the area
- Lots of traffic as with most place these days.( I'll have to say never been anywhere in Texas traffic flows better than Houston. Austin drivers should take driving lessons down there.)

I grew up in Friendswood, and date the Pearland gals..........the west end of P-Ville is growing fast, a new shopping "town is being built at 518 and 288....
we all need to have a TBH around there soon!
