    Browning A5

How do I find the serial number on a Browning A5 without the paperwork that it came with? Any help will be appreciated. I'm looking to sell or trade it and want to know what it's worth. Thanks for any help.

Serial number is located forward of the carrier on the bottom( were you load the magazine)

like Chuck said, if you need, I've got a manual I can email. Not sure if I have enough posts in to upload. Just PM.

The only numbers I remember seeing there are 1106 or something like that.

Look under the barrel, you may have to take it off.

Should have one on bottom of receiver and another on the barrel. Will most likely be two different numbers unless its before early 1950s

Is this a Belgium or Jap model?

I love the A5, but have heard lots of stories of gun dealers and individuals pitching Belgian made when they are really Japanese made. They both are great guns, but the Belgian ones are worth more.

PM me the info and I'll can tell you what the blue book on it is. They rate all the guns as far as condition and price correlates.

I've got an old Belgain made "Humpback" Early 1900's Browning patents.
