Polaris ATV Help!!

I have a 98 Polaris Sportsman 400 that wont start. I have replaced the battery (and had the new one checked twice to make sure it was good), changed the solinoid twice (the guy at the Polaris shop was kind enough to give me a 2nd one to try in case the 1st one was bad) and still nothing. I turn the ignition on and push the started button and all I hear is the sound of the solinoid engaging, not clicking over and over just one click and that's it.
I have removed the side case to make sure the bendix gear for the starter wasnt bad (replaced last year) or locking up the starter.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should try next ( I mean other than the suggestion of one well placed 45 round to the gas tank ).

Sounds like the motor may be locked up

if it has a pull start, pull on it. if it wont pull, engine could be seized, but if you can pull starter must be bad

Pull starter off then use jumper cables to make sure it spins, if it spins the previous MOTOR LOCK reply may be the problem

Thank you. Im gonna try jump starting the starter. I cant pull start it because one of the "other" problems was a broken rewind assembly which is being repaired while the side case is off. I know the motor isnt seized up.

Try too pull start it, I think I payed 90.00 to get my starter rebuilt..

Its a polaris.......lol seriously leave that builder to jet ski production. Buy a Kawasaki or Honda.
