Personally I don't think JD and Nolan will get into this bidding war. They are pretty shrewd when it comes to signing pitching. MOST of the folks they have brought on have been a success, with the exception of the last 2 Japanese pitchers. I am hoping they pass, and let the Yankees do their thing.

This is going to be very interesting to see who the major players are in this. Bobby V. said he was one of the 4 best pitchers in baseball. And since he pretty much has a career from Japan he might actually be on the down side. He aint no Ichiro, and pitchers dont last as long as right fielders generally.
