Red Deer In Leon Co.

The landowner next to me said they were red deer. I've seen Sika and these are much larger. These are whiteails from the same feeder for comparison.

Sorry for your loss but some of the neighbors will have some good eats and maybe they will buy a hunt in the future to get some more. If my neighbor would let me take one of his I would in a minute, he had a few get out a couple of years ago and 2 ended up in my freezer after giving him plenty of time to try and get them back. My other neighbor said the other day that he thought the stag got hit on the road

That is some bad luck. I have 4 buddies hunting on 977 near Flynn, your deer ain't gonna make it if they go by them.

HAHA 10-4 bud. I'll bring the beer! One part of me is kind of glad they are gone because they ruined numerous whitetail hunts. They flat out just chase the whitetails off. BUt the other side of me is upset because of the loss in $$. But nothing I can do. I have contacted the neighbor and she has given me access to hunt on her land. SOOOO looks like I am heading out at lunch today to see if they are still lurking around in the bottom. If so it's going to be a 308 Hornady TAP to the dome for them.
