Part time work available in Lufkin/Nacogdoches area
My mother is needing someone to work maybe a couple of times a week to do odd jobs around her place. My stepfather passed away last June and my mother, who is 82, is having a hard time keeping up with things around her place. I can't give her as much time as she needs because of work and keeping up my place. We're talking about stuff such as mowing the grass, when it is growing, fixing the fence where the dog digs out, cutting up and hauling to the burn pile limbs that break out of the trees, hauling stuff to the land fill, etc. You won't be asked to use your vehicle for anything and she has all the tools and equipment that would be needed. Maybe one of our SFA TBH'ers would be interested in making a little money between classes or on short class days. I believe she has been paying a little better than minimum wage and has been known to provide a meal. The only thing that she, and myself, expects is that you show up when you say you will and work when you are there. Anybody interested can come thru me so that I can talk to them first. I might even sweeten the pot a little for anyone that works out to my mother's satisfaction with some spring hog hunting and maybe a deer hunt at the lease next fall.
