    SONY HDR CX 550 camera

    SONY HDR CX 550

I love my camera. I do a lot of ELK footage at 11,000 feet. High Def true stereo, wide angle, 12 mega pixel still camera, plus great WALK ZOOM stabilazation feature--so steady!! Very compact but not a toy...its over a thousand dollars now but so worth it. I also bought a 3 year warranty at Wolf Camera. Here is a short clip that you can view on YOUTUBE...just know that YOUTUBE does not allow full 1080 HD but its still pretty decent. When you plug your footage into a high def big screen its amazing!!!

    take care

Def. get the camera arm from GJ "Skipshot" when you find the right camera..... send him a PM. It makes videoing your hunts EASY and its supporting a TBH member.

Can't go wrong with Sony Richard.

Just remember, when you go with the smaller cams, you are not going to have the low light capability of a larger cam.

Just something to keep in mind for those shots right before dark.

I have a Canon HFS21 same price range same features.

here's a couple of things . . . . if at all possible the camera he shows has a manual focus (absolutely the best thing since sliced bread) how many times has someone lost focus because of shoot through screen or a leaf? this stops the need to focus in and out to get your picture back.

Built in hard drive a must these days and 1080p is just about standard.

                      here's some of my video
