    Rain and bow?

    This may be a dumb question but, will the rain mess my bow up in any way I paid a pretty penny for it. So I was jw.

      no, but some wd40 afterwords wouldnt hurt on certain things.

        Yup. Or some gun oil. Make sure you dry it off good afterwards and don't store it in the case for a day or so.

          no and be careful with the wd it only needs a few drops here and there. I like gun oil better myself but certainly have use the ole blue can

          most important dry it thoroughly and don't put it in the case until your sure it's dry

                The screws are replaceable, but they can and will rust. It helps to coat the screws with some string wax before it rains, then dry them off well afterwards. I do not use any WD-40 on my bow. That stuff stinks!

                    I love wd40 smell...

                    reminds me of a kid when we would "lube" our bike chains and stuff with it!

                      I have a Matthews Z-7. Was into a lot of rain in the Rockies this fall. You should really inspect your bow after hunting especially after a good rain. Let it dry out and then use it and see if you hear any squeaks or see any rust. Only then would I put oil or any spray...I never have liked using oil on my bow but sometimes its a good rust preventative on screws etc... I think most suggestions on here are pretty good. GOOD LUCK!!
