Not in my county they aren't. Squrrels are game animals on in east Texas. Here in the hill country they aren't and we have no season and you can kill as many as you want.

This is what I have always thought. But it doesnt work that way with muledeer!!!

Has anyone shot a GAMO Whisper? I bought for my son 0ne last christmas. Good gosh, you talk about some serious pop! I bet if shot placement is right, it could drop a whitetail.

You should write TPWD and ask them to change it next year. Be sure to have a lot of documentation. I get the magazine Predator and every issue has an airgunning section.

I just got off the phone with the game warden about this, and she said that you CANNOT kill squirrels or any other game animal with an air rifle.

Hmm Might have to restate that one to all the dead critters my airguns have killed......LOL That's like the argument about 9mm and smaller calibers not working for personal defense LOL
