    Re: Dog got poisoned

We decided the vet was wrong she was not poisoned because she is still at the same condition she was at when we discovered the problem. She is on steroids, anti-biotics, and anti-inflamitory, and one other. Does the GS have any ideas on what could be going on? She's an Old English Sheepdog about 5.5 years old or so. Eyes are swollen shut, her conjunctiva (inside of eyelid) are swollen over her actuall eyeball completely, eyes are hazy. I dont know what at all could be going on. She hasn't quite gotten used to not being able to see yet either she still runs into everything.

    Thanks,
    BigFoot.

poison usually shuts down internal systems, swollen eyes could be more of a bite/sting of some kind. Is she vomiting, diarrhea, trouble breathing...?

Is there someone around that doesn't like you or your dog that may have pepper sprayed your dog or sprayed something else in its eyes?

I didn't see the other thread..but this sounds more of a sting/bite than a poison...?
