Has anyone ever duck hunted or fished with this guy? I'm wanting to take my son on his 1st duck hunt. Trying to find someone not too pricey and kid friendly. Any other guides you would recommend also appreciated.

Check out Jim West at Los patos or one of our own here guides for Drake plantation. LuBowhunter, i believe. I know he has been having some pretty good shoot's lately. Jim has been in the business a looong time and is top notch. Dont forget to tip the guide! Not sure what area your wanting to hunt but these guy's are here on the upper coast.

There is one in Hackberry la that is real good but not sure of the price. Hacbery rod and gun i think is the name.

Brian Francher is a close personal friend of mine and he'll put you and your son on some ducks and fish. He's an Iraq veteran, a new father (has a 7 month old boy), and a great guy!
