Question for all you CHL carriers.

When yall carry in your everyday life, do you keep a bullet jacked and ready? or do yall think that's a bad idea?

For me, depends on what pistol I'm carrying...

What are you planning on carrying?

locked and loaded.....keep the old bugger hook off the trigger, and a good holster and all is good......you wont have time to jack one into the chamber if the time came up......

Carry my STI Rogue 9mm....(1911 frame)......cocked and locked, no safer way to carry.

Good point here too. The difference between stopping a threat and a threat stopping you is just fractions of a second. If it takes you 2 seconds to make the pistol "hot" your'e about 1.8 second behind...

my revolver has all 5 rounds.

my 9mm if its just in my car then yes its racked. if I decide to carry this one on me I will probably not have one racked.

G26 in an MTAC year around daily. Of course there's one in the chamber.

I carry a pistol with a hammer just so it's ready. Had to get rid of my 24/7 pro because all I could think of was how I'd sit down one day and something touch the trigger. If it ain't loaded and ready, why have it? or something like that

I dont in everyday situations. I dont carry in a holster so I dont want to shoot myself in the leg if someone grabs me or whatever. i do put one in if I feel like Im in a threatening environment.

If you're gonna carry, it should be ready for "instant" use.... otherwise, it's just a paper weight!

Didn't trust the safety on the 24/7?
