Lease Rules Only Apply to Me

I got on a new lease last year in St Jo. A real nice place, but after a year and a half, we have learned a few things.
1) Its not 400 acres its only about 290.
2) My section is not 100 acres its only 30 ($900 per yr.)
3) Everyone talks of being management minded, but nobody does it.
(Supposed to be 4 1/2 or older and 8 pt or better)
4) 8 hunters is about 4 too many.
5) Then the final straw was this 10 year members Buck killed this last
weekend. And we ARE a AR County.
6) If you break the rules it really doesnt matter. Nothing will be said.
7) Anyone have a lease opening for next year for a LIKE MINDED Hunter?

2.5 yo 8pt that doesn't look legal....did anyone measure it?

All I saw was the picture. Dont look quite 12" to me. Definatly dont look 13", and looks to be only a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 yo buck. The man and his family have 4 spots, but we have counted up to six hunters in his clan. We hear shots but nobody seems to have fired. They take their deer load up and leave without coming to camp. So who knows how many deer they are taking off the place. I do know I sat saturday and saw 6 deer all day. Thats the most I have seen the whole time I have been there. This place is getting hunted hard, and is not getting a chance to recover. But everyone there claims to be management minded. AAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

That is another reason why I hunt public land. We all have a right to be there, we all paid the same amount for the permit and it goes to conservation, the Game Wardens help to keep hunters in line when they need a nudge, and we all HAVE to follow the same rules.

before you turn him in it might be best to ask if it were measured. if it is illegal then by all means turn the man in. especially since you have photographic evidence.

the age is less important than breaking game laws. and yeah being management minded is all fine and well until it is past opening weekend and someone hasn't shot their buck yet.

Thats why I didnt call the GW. If he had brought it to camp we could have measured it. But him not doing that makes me wonder. I just hate being the only one who has to be Managment Minded.

Just call the hotline... Thats what its there for. They will take your info and you will recieve a call from the G dub pretty quick. Tell him the truth as you know it and he will find out the rest... its his job

I had to call for the first time while hunting a couple weeks back... its painless and they really make it easy.

Maybe you need to clarify some definitions. Maybe they think management minded means "I manage to keep my freezer full by shooting everything I see!"
