    free roaming blackbuck

So today I was headed to our pasture in lavaca county and as I was goin through my great uncles place I noticed a diff type of deer. Within 50 yards of me stood a wt doe and wt buck and a BLACKBUCK doe running with them. The nearest high fence is atleast 10 miles away that has exotics. What's yalls opinion? And no my uncle didn't buy 1 and turn it loose.

We have free ranging black buck down here in the Hill Country. Axis, black buck, fallow and sika are normal. I think it's great!

I mean yes I know they are all over the hill country, even shot a couple does in bandera and medina, but seeing them in lavaca county had me wondering if its just a freak thing or what. Im not complaining,it would be.great to get a heard out here.

Exotics can pop up anywhere. I saw a whole herd of them between Priddy and Goldthwaite last year and I have never seen them in that couty before. Texas has been home to free range exotics for many years. There are just more in some areas then others. Good luck and hope there are more.
