    Lake Conroe

Anybody been up to Conroe recently that could tell me how low it is...we had to out our boats in storage and weren't able to get them out at all after that. I heard something about Texas A&M Corps of Engineers working on a new lake that would feed Conroe since it feeds Lake Houston. Lake Houston only has 2 years of water supply left so i guess its time to start looking into desalinization

I live very close to Lake Houston, they can't be taking too much more from up there. The lake is pretty close to full.

Lake Conroe is really sad right now. The water line is as far as 100 feet from the boat docks in many areas. A lot of the coves that hold fish are completely dry.

Noticed last week that lots of smaller lakes/ponds in the area seem to be on the comeback while Conroe is just as bad as mid-summer. All the marinas on the north end are still bone dry. Drove 1375 and 1097 and it is just terrible.

I live in Willis and work in Montgomery. When they are cutting the grass and weeds with batwing mowers where there used to be lake....its bad. Bulkhead to beach front.

went to my Grandmas place on the lake this evening. they are now the proud owners of beachfront property. Its almost a 50 yard walk from the bulkhead to the waters edge. its pretty bad. Ive been hearing the Bass have gone deep to find cover. but catfishin is still pretty good

I live a couple minutes from the lake on 1097... We rode our UTV's down to the lake several weeks ago, where there used to be several feet of water we can now ride our buggies...

In the pic, notice the bulkhead behind us and how far we are from the bulkhead...
