    dodge

I have a 04 dodge had a new motor put in it 6,000 miles ago. I'm losing oil pressure when it idle I just changed the oil and it still does it what should I try next. I'm thinking the oil pressure relay switch but I'd like your opinion before I buy it thanks

Do you know it's losing pressure only by looking at the gauge? Was the old motor losing pressure also? Perhaps it's the oil pressure sending unit? That usually doesn't come on a new motor.

I won't trust the dash gage..put a pressure gage on it and see what the real pressure is....

I would put an aftermarket oil pressure gauge on it and mount it on your pillar. Then you wont ahve to worry about it any more. Then put a pic of your girlfriend or wife over the factory one!
