Hunt Junkie Blues

It was too windy to hunt today, so I stayed home with the blues. I came up with this song this morning, and I thought I'd share it here. I KNOW there are some other Hunt Junkies here.

I got the title from Russell Graves' videos. They are top notch videos (just 2 so far). His brother is named Bubba, and I call my son, Zach, "Bubba" most of the time (except when he's in trouble). It all just got me thinking, and this is what I ended up with.

I took the liberty of playing some of your other tunes. Great stuff. I have to tell you that today was one of the most depressing days I've had in this job, to date. I read the story, and then clicked on My Sugarbaby and it truly lifted me up! I was laughing and crying at the same time! What a wonderful memory that must be for you when you listen to it. Thank you for sharing it with countless others via the internet.

Michael, thank you. I'm sitting here visiting with the Sugarbaby right now. She's a beautiful young lady now (gonna be a teenager in February). I didn't plan that recording. She just walked in and grabbed the mic. It was literally the first time she ever sang anything while I played the guitar. I can't tell you how priceless that recording is to me. I put it on the internet as much for "backup" reasons as anything else.

I hope you find a guitar for your little Sugarbaby. Lots of fun.
