    I need a taxidermist...

Can somebody recommend a taxi who does an awesome bobcat mount? I'm in the woodlands/ north Houston area and I'm looking for a quality mount.

I've heard several people recommend Conroe Taxi right on I-45 (I think they have a polar bear on their building)

I've never used them, but have seen several recommendations for them on here. Sorry I couldnt help more.

If you have the funds there is nobody in the US better than this guy www.wildlifeartiststudio.com. His cats are a work of art.
I just got a grouse from him and you would think its alive. You should take a look at his work

They have some awesome mounts, but they're not taking any new work.

Wilson's I think is the one in the Woodlands/Conroe. He did me wrong a few yrs back with some elk hides. I wanted them tanned, hair on, stretched and combed and I got them back stuffed into a small kitchen trash bag, all wadded up. When confronted about them, he took them back, soaked them and gave em back to me all folded up. Now anybody that does hair on knows you don't fold them up. Just my experience with them guys. And the hides cost me 400 a pc for the shotty work.

Take it to Carlton. You won't be disappointed! He is awesome and takes the extra steep to make your cat look ALIVE! On top of that he's very reasonably priced as he does this out of his home shop! You DON'T have to spend $800-$1200 for a GOOD cat mount!

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I was worried because I couldn't get ahold of the folks that normally take care of me. I got the kitty taken care of now.
