i stumbled accross this neat idea someone posted. never seen anything like it before but who knows it may have hit the market and been a failure.

basically motion detectors you set up on trails and it detects when a deer walks down a trail you cant see, and it sends you a vibrating "page" so you can get ready.

can also take a picture, or activate a game call or decoy...

I'm Deaf and can't hear when hogs come in. I set up a solar motion sensor light so when hogs come in and it lits up the area and it is clear enough for me sitting 130 yards out to see it. It also helps me see through my scope to be able to take em out. I also use EWT as well to give me a better lighting area when the motion sensor fades out after long night of turning on n off or even from not enough charging during an overcast. I know its not the same thing but ingenuity goes a long ways! It'd be cool to know when deers r coming but then again it may go off if something else came through beside deers.

That's a little to technical there. But how about this idea.
Motion sensor then run a lite wire to the blind with a light that will come on to let you know there is something there.

For something to page you would require a payed service I bet.

same thing just without the wire. its not a telephone pager. it just transmits the signal to your handheld device then lights up . like #1 sensor picks up an animal from the heat sensor, your handheld device lights up light number 1, or vibrates to let you know. like said in the article, same radio frequency idea of using your keyless entry to unlock your door.

I like the idea, but from a quick glance at the materials list, it looks like you could just buy this...and even put it on a 6 volt battery and solar for long life.
