Yamaha Big Bear question

I had'nt cranked my wheeler in a while. I had it running with the choke out while I got ramps ready to load when i noticed the muffler bright red from where it goes into the motor. Once I got it warmed up and took the choke off it quit glowing red. Anybody ever had this happen?

Nope, never had that happen.

I've had mine glow red on my Big Bear when I was running it hard. I noticed it because it was dark and I reached down to turn gas off. That was several years ago and haven't had any problems since.
