Best/ Most User Friendly Video Editing Software?

Some of you guys on the forum that video tape your own hunts and then put together videos..... what program would you recommend?

Basically what I am wanting is to take multiple seperate footages and merge them together creating a nice "homemade," yet quality video.

Features I would like are audio editing (cutting out a few unwanted curse words, haha), slow motion, multiple screens option, and a feature that allows your to plug in pictures throughout the film (not sure the technical name for that).

Any and all info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I bought the Campbell editing software used from a guy on here and it gets the job done... I picked it up real cheap and it serves it's purpose for me, I know that some of the better stuff is way more complex but I think the campbell software will do all that you mentioned...

hey herndog...do you have a PC or MAC? That cambells software looks pretty good....I dont see a Mac version. I use IMOVIE on my Mac but am looking for something a bit more upper end myself.....thanks!!

I've been meaning to ask txdukklr what he uses. Take a look at some of his videos in the video forum. Very cool!

I use Adobe Premiere Pro. It's about as high-tech as you can get. I also use Adobe AfterEffects along with it.

It's GREAT, but expensive and not super easy to learn.

The Cambell program is easy but basic.

If you want more advanced go with PremierePro or Final Cut. Final Cut is very slick and not hard to figure out. A lot of what you see on the Outdoor and Sportsman's Channels was edited in PP and FC. They do great.

When I type in on google asking about video software the highest rated software is CyberLink Power Director. It is only $50, anybody ever used this program?

If you want basic and easy use iMovie or Windows Movie Maker (free on your PC). They get it done!!

I second that one.
But it is hard to beat after effects tho. It does have a pretty steep learning curve. However google will help with the tutorials on how to use it right along with YouTube.

I have heard of several people using this program and liking it quite a bit.
I think I might just give this one a shot.

I use Sony Vegas

They have demo and trial versions so you can try them out. They also have good tutorials within the program, which makes it nice.
