What does no switch detected mean

At the lease trying to point my dish network satellite and keep getting no switch detected message. Anyone know what this means.

It means it is not getting lined up properly to recieve the signal. I had that problem last time I was down at the lease and I believe the little white globes (white plastic) things have something to do with it as well because it hasn't been moved and is anchored pretty well. I moved it trying to get a signal with no luck. Thats all I got for you.
