Just bought a rattle bag and k&h grunt.... Have never done either any pointers for the evening hunt?

If your gonna rattle..Then Rattle.. I like to hit the horns real hard... If Im useing real horns a set of 5x5 are a must. -
I start off with grunts and tickling the horns just in case there is something right on top of you and then after scanning the area after 30 secs or so I will hit em hard and get the noise out there. Alot of people are timid about doing it but in my experience if a buck is worth shooting he will probably take interest in it if he can hear it. The don't always just run in... Sometimes it takes 10 or 15 mins for a buck to work in after hitting scrapes or just looking for a visual of the fight.Comment

when I rattle I go all in... as hard as I can for 40+ seconds.... the wait for about 40minutes ... I had a 10pt walk in last week after 30 minutes from the first rattle... watch the wind... the will circle around and have the wind in there face if they can....I only grunt when I see a deer... honestly I have never grunted in a deer....! I have stopped them from leaving with a grunt...Comment
