Any body have this problem before? My Stealth Cam, bought earlier this year, late spring early summer, has worked well until this last month or so, just quit taking pics at night. The few that it took are all black, as if the IR flash isn't working at all. I would think with everyone else getting pics of deer at night, I would have tons of night time pics, but almost none, and none that are viewable. Anybody ever experience this before and if so, were you able to correct it and how?

I had the same thing. Lots of day pics but one at night after working fine all last season. The batteries showed good but I pulled them all and intsalled new and it's been working since I don't know if it was the batteries or if it needed a reboot or what
Sorry I can't be of more help but at least you someone else had a similar issue.

I have had that happen in the past on a couple of different stealth cams. One I think was due to moonphase and the other was due to the IR going out (it was still under warranty).
I called Stealth and they sent me a brand new one. Stealthcams from time to time do need a reboot to make them work properly.

Well mine wasn't a stealth cam but it doesn't take pics at night 90% of the time.
It is a cuddy back capture.
This companies customer service is not very good either. This camera was less then a year old and they told me to send 10 pictures of what it took. Then if it was a bad camera I would have to pay 50% of the cost of the camera and pay shipping to get a new one. Also had a cuddy IR that was less then 6 months old taking grainy pictures. They told me the same thing on that one as well. Needless to say I don't deal with them anylonger.
I'm now using the bushnell small cams that are about 4x6 in size that take 8 AA batteries and lasts a year on them. So far so good. Been 2 years now and no problems at all. I use cameras from june/July through feb. Then take them down for a few months.

As to night vision trail cameras, it is important for them to capture detailed and crisp images and footages at night whether for hunting or surveillance. With this in mind, I choose WingHome trail camera to try, it takes great images at night.
