Has the rut kicked off in your area? I thought last weekend the bucks were chasing but in 2 days I haven't seen a single deer. Anyone noticing the same thing?

Bucks are in rut just west of you in Mills county. Bucks are not at corn feeders. Too busy chasing.

I hunted Monday and Tuesday and saw 2 does. I'm going back tomorrow. I didn't see any sign of rut activity. Maybe I will this weekend.

Cool, thanks for the input. They were all over our oat fields last weekend ans now they have vanished. Not many tracks after the rain either

All the young bucks were out this evening in Evant. I would think that it gas started just need some colder weather

I have a lease there it's just the lessor of my two leases so I don't go there often.
