marlin Super Goose 10 gauge

My Grandpa gave me his super goose 10 gauge. He bought it brand new and never fierd it. It is in brand new condition. I love the look of it and don't want to sell it but I don't know anything abt the history of this gun or the estimated value of it????

I have an old 12 ga. They were good in their time. No advantage to the long barrel now. Not sure on 10 but the 12 were being had for about $150

Yup!, and he gave me some slugs with it. I can't imagine the damage theyed do to a pig

I bought the marlin original super goose ten bolt action bran new back in 1979 for 149 $ and just passed it on to my son last year . Also it has a 32" full choke barrel that realy put a lot of hurt on geese back in my day and its still killing them today

I have one of the old Marlin Goose guns with the bolt action and a 36" full choke barrel. Killed many a sandhill crane at long distance with this gun.
