Carpenters Wood Workers Can you build this?

Is there any wood workers carpenters on this forum that can or has made something like this? I am considering this option for gun storage because it would look nicer in the room. I am thinking of something like a cedar chest with a cushion seating on top with sturdy lock. The price of this safe is crazy and If the cost of this project is well over a safe I will probably just buy the safe.

You got me searching. We are building a house an "my" closet isn't big enough for a real safe but there is a storage space under the stairs that a horizontal should fit nicely. I found this in my searching

The OP posted a gun safe, that's disquised as a wooden bench.

Looks like a small gun safe on it's back with 2 rear window gizmos from a SUV to hold up the door.

I'd suggest a gun safe lag bolted to the 2x4 wall, and furniture for the bedroom.
