Just got my son a 94 chevy truck. There is a tapping noise under the dash for about 20 seconds when the key is turned on or off. I know this was a common problem back in the day, but cant remember what it was. Seems like it was the air blend door or something. Anybody know what it is and how to fix it?

Google searched it...if it's under passenger side could be hvac door. -

Our ranch truck is a 94 chevy and has the same problem. Just never have gotten around to fix it.

Blend door motor. Most times it is the max air motor. Get under there and you can feel it when it happens. then you will know which motorComment
