The Elk Thread

This is a bull I had inside of 40 yards last year, I was behind a bush waiting for him to get clear, when I hit full draw my Quivalizer stuck out from behind the bush and spooked him....

He has put on 25-30 inches since last year and is still hanging in the same area.

Ready for September!

Camp is set for us, spouse has the archery only tag and gets the first 2 weeks with 49 other hunters, I get to start hunting my cow tag Sept 15 for the last 2 weeks of his season.

The bulls were bugling last night in NM. Had this bull at 50 yards while out bear hunting. Good luck hunters!

Bugling has not started in SW Montana, but daily highs in 80s-90s are forecast to drop to 50-60. Let get the ‘girls’ in estrus already.

Yes it is, I used it once in July to go put out cameras and it's working great.
