Got my first elk yesterday evening. So glad my boy was with me. Such a tough and hard animal to hunt.
The crazy thing is, there’s more skirt/flank meat on a mature elk that that of an entire whitetail! I filled an RTIC 65 with backstraps and skirt meat!

I have a question about Arizona. I bought a license last year and applied for elk. That license expires 1/29/19, can I use the same license to apply for elk this year?

You can use it to apply by the expiration date, but will need to buy a new license if you draw. If you are just putting in for the draw and work the dates, you only buy a license every other year.
