Bedded buck?

This morning me and my son had a mature buck catch us off guard. By the time I spotted him he was already half way across the shooting lane. By the time I got my boy on him he was walking away from us towards an island of woods on top of a big hill. Im positive he bedded up there. The only way for him to go onces he leaves the island of woods is the same way he went in. This island is only about an acre give or take. Do you think he will stay bedded during the day if nothing bumps him? Were going to ease back in there this evening hoping to catch him going back to the creek bottom. This buck is very nice!!! I hope my son can get him. He found out what buck fever was this morning. He shook for 30 minutes afterwards.

I'd get back to that trail ASAP. He will get up and stretch his legs at some point.

He catches a whiff of that and he will definatly be on the move. Wife made plans for lunch so had to leave. Maybe he is a gay buck.

Didnt see a deer all evening. Didnt figure he would be back thru this evening. Maybe another day. Going to give it a break tomorro and go hunt points.
