Sitting here about 8:00am - an average workday- talking to clients and staring at a computer screen. "Beedle Beep!" It's a text from Pat, a leasemate who is hunting today. Pat is one of those guys who likes to look at deer and goes to the lease alot but rarely shoots. Text says "Parker-I'm sitting in the hilltop rifle blind and there is a very nice 10 point standing between your Double Bull and the feeder!" An hour later - "Beedle Beep!" "Holy crap! I'm rattling from the tower stand and bucks came charging in from three directions!" 30 minutes later "Beedle Beep!" "The bucks are running wild - a heavy 8 just chased two does right by the camp and out into the wheat field, you need to get out here!" Well as luck would have it I can't get there till late Friday night - why do I feel there's a "You should have been here yesterday!" moment in my future?
