Nope. If I killed that beast, I would give him credit for everything.

      Nasty ol' brute.

A lot of the deer that come off high fenced ranches seem to have the light almost white horns, never seen that on a low fenced deer. I know the color has everything to do with what they rub their horns on, but a lot of the high fenced deer look like that. Even seen it on high fenced elk. Not saying anything bad about the hunter or animal as I have no opposition to high fence hunts, I have been on a few and would definitley shoot this bruiser if I had the opportunity. Heck of a trophy for the hunter no matter how or where it was done. Just stating my opinion.

does this look photoshopped to anyone? 1. i feel that it would take more than just 3 fingers to hold all of that up, and 2. something looks weird where the bucks left ear is in front of the guys forearm..

does this look weird to anyone else??

Deer was probably put in a cooler and posed that way for the pics. It is stiff from being in the cooler and will almost pose like that without anybody holding his head up.

I think you're right. His forearm looks real fishy there where it connects to the deers' ear

Its real, I am friends with a friend of this guy. Got the pick and short story a year or two ago. Can't remember and since my yahoo account got hacked I lost my old emails. Still looking but pretty sure they are all gone. I guess my bud could be lying but not his character.

The light color horns are not an indication of fence height, but they are an indication of non-native breeder deer. Because many breeders have northern genetics, their offspring commonly have lighter colored antlers.

This was posted here last month and it came off the Bass ranch near Uvalde. It is high fenced and has introduced genetics. I'll try to find the thread.
