When do you buy feeders?

When do you use them most? (time of year)

Do you convert to protein or use it year round and if so (convert) when?

What volume feeder do you prefer?

Do you put Solar on your feeder?

When do you use them most? (time of year)I usually start feeding corn in late July and run them until they are empty (usually late January/early February)

Do you convert to protein or use it year round and if so (convert) when?No, I don't convert

What volume feeder do you prefer?I like my 1,000 lb models best

Do you put Solar on your feeder?Without a doubt

I only buy winch up feeders with 12 volt spreaders
Solar panel is a must
Change to protien after season. I buy the coated pellets that feed from the corn feeders

Oops missed the sales part. I have bought in off season to try and get them cheaper. Solar is best

I have customers that want to know when consumers (what time of year) buy and use feeders.

I myself use mine after season although now that I have pigs in the area I may load them up for some pig action.

When I had my store people bought corn year round even after WalMart and academy stopped carrying it (good for me).
