    I found this post on another website thought I would share it.


    Heavy bearing grease and crushed red pepper on your feeder legs 4ft down from your feeder. Deer pay no attention to it. No varmit cage needed then either. Sling corn farther,also. Try this guys, it works!! Eliminate your coon problems!!! Been doing it for MANY years both in the hill country and south Texas

              Good deal!! Ive tried the bearing grease...has worked so far. Not tried the crushed pepper. I just ordered a dozen of the dog proof coon foot traps that you put marshmellows in. Ive seen people hanging them from the feeder...Of course it kinda screws up the hunting for a few days. I probably should wait till after season to start the assault. Thanks for the tip!!
