My buddy (BRAND NEW to hunting, and has been bow hunting hard all year) texted me pictures of a big 10pt locked down with a doe in his back yard at 8:15 this morning......it is now 10:50am and they are still there. He is in the city, and therefore we had to do some snooping around to see if it was legal to take the buck.
It is rifle season here, so first thing was making sure that he has a rifle tag. Second is...he is in the KC city limits so there is no firearms allowed. Third...we checked with MO Dept of Conservation, and they said have at it. Forth...we checked with city police and they said "shoot it." Fifth....his 9mo old is home with him alone...so aunty must come over...or I told him to strap him into the car seat/carrier and tell him to hold on.
Last I heard was he was getting his release on....stay tuned.
