Trust me........... it ain't ALL about hunting.

I'll trade ya. Mine is 18 and I couldn't tell you how much I missed because I was more worried about working or hunting.

Could you pick me up a couple of kolaches when you get the donuts???

Enjoy your daughter and get in the woods soon! I am excited because I am taking one of my twin boys this afternoon to the lease and we are looking forward to it!

I took Addy once and set 15 yds off my feeder in a pop up.
We saw everything!!! And she is pumped up about going back... But dad is dragging his tail.... I must be depressed or something...

This has happens to me too, brother ... especially on a cold morning when I don't feel like getting up. Perhaps this will help? ... and I mentioned this to another hunter who was also unmotivated for a time:

By identifying yourself as a hunter, and being a hunter, you have made a divine commitment to God by taking on the responsibility of managing His herds and flocks. As God's wild life manager, He has given you the right and the power to harvest from his renewable bounty for the purpose of managing His herds and flocks as well as for the purpose of feeding your family. When you feel unmotivated, know that your responsibility is first to God, then to your family, then to yourself. The phrase in Peter's dream in Acts 10:13 - "Get up Peter. Kill and eat." has more meanings but the point is that God told Peter to "Get up." Don't get mad. Get glad. You have the best job in the world.

Get up, brother. Go kill something ...
