    Ballistics guru's..... I need a little help

Ok so I know if I sight my rifle in at 1.5-2" high at 100 (0.0 at 200) where it is going to hit.

BUT I also have a set up where MOST of the deer are at 75-80 yards and I can not move the feeder or stand.

So my question is............how high will a 165g bullet hit at these closer ranges?

Looking for a table that shows them but not haveing any luck.

Too many variables with the info given, you need to know MV, caliber, Balistic coefficient of bullet ex to know exacly, but I say put it center mass and let her fly

Negligible at that range. Don't give it another thought.

If you're 1.5" high at 100, you'll PROBABLY be 1.6-1.7" high at 80. Really, virtually no difference to speak of. At that range how fast is that bullet going? 3000 fps? Depends on your caliber and load, but 3000 is easy to work with here. From 80 yards to 100 yards is 60 feet, so your bullet will travel that distance in 0.02 seconds. Figuring the force of gravity at -9.8m/s^2 (I don't know it in feet/second^2). So, 9.8m X 0.02 X 0.02= 0.00392 meters of drop. One meter is close to 40" so, 0.156" of drop from 80 to 100 yards. Most hunting rifles aren't accurate enough to even see that 0.156"
