I currently have a general contracting business in the DFW area that I'll probably be needing a Project Mgr/Superintendent soon. I'm a young company who has just enough business to keep my one man operation steady, but recently was offered a pretty decent job. After deciding that a consistent paycheck, insurance, and benefits is best for my family I accepted the position. I still want to keep my personal business, but now I won't be able to manage jobs that i come across. Being a young company I'm not busy enough to afford someone 40 hrs a week, so I had the idea to find someone on a contract basis to manage these jobs as they arise. I think this would be good for someone retired, with a construction background, who wanted some additional income. There won't be any physical labor, just making sure the project runs smoothly and being onsite with the subs if a residence is occupied. If anyone knows of someone that might be interested, please let me know. Thanks!
