    need advice? ??!!!!!

Ok I have this spot I hunted all weekend seen three does and small buck.. hunting this buck we call whitey.. he's atleast a ten and has atleast a 17key or 18whatever inch spread.. I hunted till 11 the other morning and from 2 till 6 sad thing is.. went to camp to grab a bite went down the pipeline to sit in another stand about 600 yards away and I just happen to look as he was crossing the pipeline and he was coming right from where I was hunting.. after that when I went back hunting my stand that same evening he had walked over a few of ny tracks.. needless to say its hard for me to stay in the stand for 12 solid hours!! So what's y'all advice and opinions.. by the way its east Texas!!!

These East Tx deer are wierd about moving during the middle of the day. Don't know what else you can do besides hunt all day or maybe put out one of those plot watcher cameras on the pipeline to try and pattern him. Good luck to you.

Stick to one stand, spray down good with scent killer and have as much patience as possible. Because once the rut kicks in there will be no telling where he will be. If you are seeing him in that one area stay true to it and you will get him.

THIS...if they did we would all have one. The one in my avatar is my biggest and I hunted him for almost a solid week before I even saw him. I had TC pics of him for two months before bow season started. I just stuck with it and carried snacks to the stand so I could sit as long as I needed to. Hunted all of opening weekend and never saw him once. Came to work on the following Monday and told them I wouldn't be back until I had him! Shot him on that Wednesday 30mins before dark!

Just stick with it and good luck!!

The next few weeks when the rut starts, don't be surprised if you see one even nicer walk by. It's all about patience and persistence.

switch up your hunts. hunt from like 9 to 4 or something.

get up and move around/eat. then go sit back again for the evenning hunt.

I probably wont hunt the early morning hunt now that the time changed. its light at like 5:45 or something stupid. add my two hours of getting truck loaded, and drive to lease to be in blind 30 minutes prior to sun up and I AM NOT getting up at 3:45...

                    thats my plan atleast.

just keep at it. it just comes down to right place right time and seems you havent gotten either one right yet. But its a matter of time till the stars align right and you get your shot. Just gotta put in the work.

                        Patience many times replaces wisdom.
