What do you think about my new treestand?





Actually Chew and I came across this while duck hunting in the SHNF last week. That is a fine piece of redneck engineering. The chair is nailed to the tree and the legs are "secured" with bailing wire. To top it off the pine it is set up in is dead and the top has fallen down just a few feet above the chair.

I started to climb up in it and check for shooting lanes....
But Toby thought I might exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. I think he just didn't want me to take his spot.

He's not joking about "nailed to the tree". There is literally a hole in the top of the chair with a nail hammered through it and bent up for "safety".

It had a "GameTamer" sticker on the seat of the chair. I think the warranty is probably expired though.


Surprised we didn't find a skeleton underneath it!

thats crazy. Someone is gonna get hurt. I have seen more then one of thos type chairs bend just at ground level. Then the nail!!! Crazy people
