Adobe Premier for PC.

I've been doing Video production work for 10 years now. If you have a mac, FCP is the best, a little pricey.

how in depth do you want to get, special effects etc???

final cut pro, and adobe premire pro are the best pro software.

there are some decent beginner ones out the too for pc or imovie for mac.
