After a long debate with myself I decided the Rem700 .25-06 that I bought from Charles would be the perfect public land rifle. I have several heavy calibers that I have long range glass on but are too heavy to tote way back in the woods with a climber on my back. I decided to go with the conservative 3x9x40 Zeiss Conquest and an Uncle Mikes Shell Toter. Bout to go tune'r up!
