My neighbor needs a shooting lesson

This shot had to be extremely hard quartering away.
This buck appears to be OK he was shot almost 3 weeks ago.

never know
i have a buddy that can drop arrows on a dime at 20 yards, i put him in front of the biggest buck of his life . . . broadside at 18 yards and he shot that joker high in the back strap. I'm hoping the deer is still running around!

looks like he just shot high on a quartering away shot to me - it happens - glad the buck is surviving it - they are tough animals

In a perfect world the buck would stand still perfectly broadside and take it like a man...this isn't a perfect world.

looks like to me the buck could have ducked the string and rolled having it run right down his back and neck.......

Im going to name him the Traveler. He is the only buck that travels the entire ranch. I hope he can survive gun season.
