So after watching two 150+ bucks 400 yards on the other side of the field last night I decided to put myself way in the back where no one has been in a few weeks..so I get to the stand and to a pleasant surprise every morsal is ate up so I start thinking this is.going to be pretty good. Than I climb up the ladder stand. Sit down and decide I need to go a head and see if I can draw comfortably or if I need to change something. So I draw back and thought woah that felt messed up. Lower and try again..same thing so I'm looking my bow over real good (in the dark) trying to find something wrong and thats when I see my draw stop hanging by a thread. So I touch it to try to tighten it back down and when I place my fingertips on it I get to watch it fall 15 into the leaves below...oh well at least I put the .270 wsm in the bronco! So here I am now in a bow stand with my rifle..it feels wrong..but anyway I'll keep y'all updated on what goes on!
