I've never been one to keep up with technical figures whether it be muzzle velocity or kinetic energy. If I launch an arrow or fire a round, and it hits the mark and produces the desired result, I'm good.
The last couple of years, I guess closer to 3-4, I've been looking for more challenging ways to hunt. That's one reason I enjoy bow hunting.
The lease I was on last year would have provided some great long range shot opportunities if we hadn't had so much rain and I could've gotten to the other side of the river. Where I'm hunting now, I have shot ops of 3-400 yds and beyond. Looking at the Winchester website, I found info for the round I shoot but I have no clue what "Traj short" and "Traj long" means? If the "long" wasn't there, I'd assume it would be inches of bullet drop at the specified distance. Can someone explain this to me?
Thanks!
