No doe permits, i am only on 50 acres. I count an average of 10 to 15 does at the feeder each hunt. I did pick up bow hunting this year but i had no luck.

You can get doe permits on that size property. I started bow hunting because of the doe population but it is nice to have permits so you can still now hunt them during gun season. Is your place the one with the new gate right across from Sonny Owens place?

Sonny's place is on 410. It has a pipe entrance with a calf roper on it. I'm pretty sure I know where your place is. One of the biggest deer I have ever seen crossed the hwy just north of Yorks place. Maybe we can meet up some time and I can show you some pics.

Sounds good. Sorry I have been busy searching for the biggest deer of my lifetime, I did not find any blood so that's a pretty good sign. I shot at him at a full sprint (stupid).
